Your Animal will have opinions about everything –
- People your animal knows
- Animals they live with or know
- events or activities that are happening in their home environment
- Their likes and dislikes [ for example: food, play activities, car/trailer rides, etc.]
- For working animals – the work that they do, how their handler/rider works with them, etc.
- Tack, equipment or harnesses or other gear that they wear
- They are often more than willing to give you advice as well!
Its a good idea to let your animal know about upcoming events, such as –
- Moving.
- Vacations and how they will be cared for whilst you are away.
- Family members or animals leaving or coming into the household.
- Vet visits or proceedures [ such as: tests, surgery or dental work.]
- Major changes in the animals routine.
